Spring vs Langan
Porcelain group of a knuckle fighting between pugilists Spring and Langan.
Thomas Spring was ruled Champion of England from 1819 to 1824. The first contest between Spring and the Irish Champion John Langan took place at Worcester on 7th January 1824 where Spring was declared the winner after 77 rounds, lasting 2 hours and 29 minutes.
