Hand finished Giclee Print

£550.00

The hustle and bustle of Brighton Beach is set ablaze with a riot of colour, candy stripes and accents of neon pink. In the distance, the sloping South Down’s fade out into the horizon, whilst the ethereal and skeletal outline of the West Pier appears to fade into the backdrop of the rich aqua sea.

This is a hand-finished giclee print using archival quality 320 gsm Hahnemuhle paper and archival lightfast inks. All giclee's are hand signed and released as an edition of 75. The image size is 80x80cm, the paper size is 88 x 88cm. All prints are unframed and we strongly advise to frame using museum glass - a conservation grade UV anti-reflection glass, giving only 1% light reflection which also provides up to 99% UV protection.

Each print is hand finished so colours may vary.

Kathryn Matthews studied Visual Art at the De Montfort University in Leicester (1990-93). She has exhibited widely throughout the UK and internationally with shows in New York, Dubai and Paris. Her paintings have a luminous and often ethereal quality that is achieved through vibrant colour, a variety of mark making techniques and multiple layering and glazings.
