Jazmin Velasco

Until the mid 1800's married women had no legal rights, let alone the right to vote. Bound in corsets and oversized, painfully heavy dresses, the one past time that was deemed socially acceptable was needlepoint!

Porcelain Regency figurines. Dimensions approx: 20x13x10cm

Jazmin is a member of The Society of Wood Engravers, The West Country Potters Association and teacher at the International Summer School Bild Werk-Frauenau.
