Thomas Spring was ruled Champion of England from 1819 to 1824. The first contest between Spring and the Irish Champion John Langan took place at Worcester on 7th January 1824 where Spring was declared the winner after 77 rounds, lasting 2 hours and 29 minutes.
Please note that these sculptures are made by hand one by one without moulds so they all come out slightly different in shape and size.Porcelain Regency figurines. Dimensions approx: 18x18x12cm.
Jazmin is a member of the Society of Wood Engravers and the Crafts Council, also a teacher at the International Summer School Bild-Werk Frauenau. Her prints have been selected several times for Summer Exhibition in the Royal Academy of Arts. Her work is in galleries around the UK
