Dinah trained at Central St Martin’s College of Art and quickly attracted media attention here and internationally. Initially interested in genetics and medical intervention and how this connects with the creative process, her work focussed on creating hyper-real people on the canvas, especially ‘designer babies’ and ‘dream girls’. She uses topography as a language to describe her forms in what appear to be concrete terms – the ‘factual’ language of science. However, the images are manipulated, reconstructed and reinvented – aspirational models that describe the perplexing dualities of the creator and the society within which she lives. 

Dinah has exhibited widely in London, New York and Australia.
