Artist Statement “ I’ve worked from my pottery in Arundel, since the early 1980s and throughout those years I have remained a figurative artist. I have always sculpted, or decorated my work with animals of one form or another, sheep, tigers, chickens and rats, but for the last fifteen years, I’ve found the dog to be my muse, including them in every aspect of my work; landscapes, street scenes, pubs, allotments and bathrooms, even at the fun fair. Dogs brighten up any composition, and give it a sense of wit and focus.
I hope my work will make you smile”.
