This painting is inspired by a trip to North Iceland. The serene emptiness above ground contrasting with hot, volcanic activity beneath. Whilst taking inspiration from the vast snowy landscape and hot thermal pools, Kathryn also wants to leave enough room for your imagination to take you wherever you want to go.
