Print for Claire Robinson

Hand finished Giclee Print

A powder blue sky brewing with hot pink clouds loom across the hilltops of the South Downs and Brighton’s famed regency townhouses. In the foreground the sea lends itself to the artist’s signature style, featuring a riot of colour and varying abstract mark-making techniques.

This is a hand-finished giclée print using archival quality 320 gsm Hahnemuhle paper and archival lightfast inks. All giclées are hand signed and released as an edition of 75. The image size is 80x80cm, the paper size is 88 x 88cm. All prints are unframed and we strongly advise to frame using museum glass - a conservation grade UV anti-reflection glass, giving only 1% light reflection which also provides up to 99% UV protection.

Each print is hand finished so colours may vary.

Kathryn Matthews studied Visual Art at the De Montfort University in Leicester (1990-93). She has exhibited widely throughout the UK and internationally with shows in New York, Dubai and Paris. Her paintings have a luminous and often ethereal quality that is achieved through vibrant colour, a variety of mark making techniques and multiple layering and glazings.
