Winter Sky Over Hove (Hand Finished)

An atmospheric backdrop of a stormy sky infused with hot pinks, cerulean blue and twinges of aqua frame some of Brighton’s most prominent landmarks in this striking limited edition giclée print. Released as an edition of 75, each print is actually unique as they are individually hand-finished with a blazing neon pink. Ink black accents appear throughout, enhancing architectural details and quirks.

This is a hand-finished giclée print using archival quality 320 gsm Hahnemuhle paper and archival lightfast inks. All giclées are hand signed and released as an edition of 50. The image size is 80x80cm, the paper size is 88 x88cm. All prints are unframed and we strongly advise to frame using museum glass - a conservation grade UV anti-reflection glass, giving only 1% light reflection which also provides up to 99% UV protection.

Each print is hand finished so colours may vary.

Kathryn Matthews studied Visual Art at the De Montfort University in Leicester (1990-93). She has exhibited widely throughout the UK and internationally with shows in New York, Dubai and Paris. Her paintings have a luminous and often ethereal quality that is achieved through vibrant colour, a variety of mark making techniques and multiple layering and glazings.
